A Guide For Gaijins: How To Wear Your Seifuku(the obachan friendly version)
I decided to make this to educate people and to stop the stereotyping of Japan’s school uniforms. Ok guys we are entering Japan irl not in anime/manga/jdorama letsu go~
When you receive your uniform, it will look like this cause THAT’s how long it should really be. But we’re rebels and we want to look supah cool and all so some girls hem their skirts permanently shorter(even in winter yikes) but here’s an ancient trick passed by my ancestors that i’ll share to you guys.
I folded it about 2 times to get this length. hehe~ The average skirt length in Tokyo is 13 cm above the knee. The shortest skirts are found in Sendai and Niigatta while the longest are in Okinawa(7 cm above the knee wow).
How not to wear your skirt. This is what you guys see in animes and mangas. Majority of the girls who wear skirts this short are fake high school students who dress up for fun and just really uhmm… stylish students. =)))))
This is an invitation for pedophiles inside trains cause most students commute to school.
Now that you know the basics, wear you skirt with honor and don’t forget to check for things you should avoid like that ^^^^^^^^^ wtf
Tips on posing very cutely with your seifuku

So this is how you should look like after you’ve done everything correctly. Not manga-like but normal. Ok that is all good bye~
